Shakti Naam Yoga

Shakti Naam puts you in touch with your divine power. It fills you with prana (life force) so you can be magnetic and healthy. Shakti Naam exercises are designed to slow down the aging process, strengthen the immune system and keep disease away. Classes focus on deep breath work, sound meditation and dynamic movements to provide detoxification, vitality and strength.

Naam Yoga for Women

Deepen your connection to the Divine Feminine and the Creative Power of being a Woman.  Class will focus on harmonizing sexual energy and healing past trauma, depression, emotional ups and downs in order to heal and open the heart to self love and intimacy.  Learn and experience self healing for optimal weight, glandular, cardiovascular and nervous system health and awakening your higher consciousness for improved decision-making & stress reduction.  Movement, breathwork, meditation and sacred rituals support fertility and abundance.

Naam Meditation - Community Class

Tap into Divine Love and increase the potency of prayer by chanting Naam together. Whether you participate verbally, or relax and listen, this class will bring peace to your mind and love to your heart. Perfect for the beginner and seasoned meditator alike, come to deepen your understanding of sound meditation and breath work.

Naam Sound Meditation with Gong

Experience the healing power of sound through Naam Yoga. In this unique class you will go through a variety of healing hand seals combined with seed sounds, other sacred chants and breath work. At the end you will experience a Gong bath - the gong will be resonated for approximately 30 minutes while you relax in shavasana. This is one of the most healing experiences you can have in a yoga class setting. It will literally elevate your vibration frequency harmonizing you with the Gong's vibrations.

Naam Yoga Aromatherapy

This class is a merging of the healing properties of medicinal plant essences and the technology of Naam Yoga. In each class, you will be guided to put the essence of a plant on specific points of the body that are known to restore harmony and wellness on a celluar level. Applying the knowledge of Naam Yoga movement, breath and sacred sound we will consciously create the platform for vitality, happiness and peace on all levels of our being: mind, body and spirit.

Restorative Aromatherapy

A therapeutic approach to yoga. Merge the therapeutic properties of medicinal plant essences & the deeply healing benefits of Restorative Yoga.

Prenatal Yoga with Aromatherapy

Learn tools for a healthier and stress free pregancy. Enjoy yogic excercises geered towards expecting women and also special meditations for pregancy. Approptiate essencial oils will be available to optimize the mother's well being and relaxation. 

Postnatal Yoga

This is a class for new moms looking to balance the ups and downs of motherhood with a practice that will feed their body and soul. We will work on postures that help to tone up the body- especially the pelvic floor- and will work with the breath and various meditation techniques to tone up the spirit. Babies are welcome and encouraged to come and be a part of the beautiful community we have cultivated at Naam. Please have clearance from your doctor to exercise!

​Hatha/Restorative

Through supported, passive positions, this class brings relief and peace to the nervous system. The organs of the body are profoundly supported, and the biochemistry of the body changes as the cortisol levels drop in the blood. As a result, the entire body experiences deep rest that is far greater than an ordinary night’s sleep. This practice will change the way you go through life, creating the internal peace required to “respond” instead of “react".

Yoga Basics

In our Yoga Basics classes you will learn the foundations of postural alignment and breathing techniques. Modifications are available and encouraged to make yoga safe, accessible and beneficial for everyone. Yoga Basics is recommended for brand new yogis and also students working with specific physical concerns, or for more experienced practitioners looking to slow down, deepen their practice and rejuvenate.

Vinyasa

This dynamic style is ideal for those who enjoy a challenge and wish to gain strength, better alignment and flexibility. Vinyasa classes combine breath and movement to cleanse and recharge the body and focus the mind in a moving meditation. Classes typically include standing, seated and inverted postures linked with Sun Salutations and Ujjayi breath. 6 months experience recommended. 

Candlelight Yoga

Our Candlelight Yoga classes are set with low lighting and candles for a serene flowing practice. Open to all levels, these classes are a blend of pranayama (breathing techniques) and basic postures with variations available for the seasoned yogi. Class finishes with restorative postures and Yoga Nidra (guided meditation) to release the tensions that lie deep within the physical and energetic bodies. Visualizations and mantra are used to encourage students to relax the active mind, embrace the inward journey and eventually arrive in a space of inner stillness where there is peace, balance, pure joy and love.
